The present old town as been developed during 19th century and can be seen as an example of a rich princely tradition, which is now a valuable heritage. Most of the constructions in Junagadh as been result in 2nd half of 19th century. The bazaars around the Palace [Darbar Hall Museum] were reconstruction in 1867. Junagadh's important architecture structures are Library, High School , Bahauddin College, General Hospitals, Leprosy Hospital, Central-Jail, District Court, Clock Towers, Railway - Station, Ayena - Mahal [Darbar Hall Museum], Nawab Palace, [Sardar Baug ) etc .

The Mahabat Maqbarra and the Bahauddin Maqbarra are also an excellent specimen of the past Islamic architectures. Bahauddin Collage is also an impressive construction, The Buddhist architectures of this region are also famous for its rock-cut architectures .Girnar temples are also important example of Jain architectures.
